Evening all.

I was just wiping down my bike and checking everything over. Saw what appears to be an oil reservoir, but not sure. New to motorcycles, and learning as I go.

Is this an oil reservoir to check oil level? Or ...?
Should it be empty? Cuz it is.

Almost 25,000 km
Oil changed 3 weeks ago.
Bottle is under the rad, to the left of the oil filter (when facing the bike), just inside the rear brake. Brownish in colour, transparent, 1.5" tall, hose going to middle of engine).

I think that'll be the drain catch-bottle from your airbox m8, nothing to worry about, just empty it now and again. It's to stop any oily residue from the airbox being dumped on the tarmac.

Something you can do is to follow the tubing to see where it leads.

OneShade was right. There have been a few other posts about it on the forum, just had to search for them.

Learning is one of the main reasons I am here. Reading as much as I can, asking questions, like this one, when I run into something I am not familiar with.
