Putting the cams back in my 750-4 and one of the cap bolts wouldn't tighten (didn't go beyond torque spec). Needles to say, it came back out of the head with aluminum stuck in it's threads.

Can I heli coil this? And what size would I be looking for? Thanks!

Are you wanting to know if you can do it yourself or if the process can be done?:biggrin: Yes it can be done, however I wouldn't use helicoils.

Oh, I've done my fair share of helicoils, just didn't know if they came in that size. What would you suggest if not helicoils?
