i was given a z550 as its old owner had left it in a shed for about 9 years and never looked at it since . now i have got it started and it sounds real happy but the last owner had lost all the bike info and the licence plate so can you help me identify what model and what year she is please

with any luck she will be older than me (22 years old )

And nothing comes up. Recheck and see if that's the right VIN #.

is said my waranty ran out on 9/30/85

so how old does this make her

did you get a two year waranty back then

I would say it's an '83 or '84. I doubt it had a two year warranty.
