Why couldn't it.....

I mean ive seen lil mini 50s do wheelies....
If the person driving it knows what there doing then yes it can pull wheelie.
But it may take more skill then just dumping the throttle...
More then likly with a 500 you would have to clutch it.

I'm a newbie to the motorcycle world so this may sound dumb, but when you say dump the clutch, does that mean just letting it out all at once? What are some other ways to pop a wheelie, not that I want to do one, but more so I know what to avoid.

dump, pop, drop... some words that are typically used for engaging the clutch instantaneously with as little slippage as possible thus transferring as much torque to the rear wheel as possible.

Also I hear if you don't have the front brake held down(engaged) it helps the front tire lift off the ground better...
