While I've been looking for an air leak on the f9 350 I've been beating on... I think I've been on the wrong path.

I fired up the bike for the first time this year and took it for a spin.

In my estimation... the engine isn't running away from being able to suck air... I really think the carb slide is just staying in position when the engine get's really warm.

Has anyone ever tried to confirm whether aside from the slide physically sticking... can the carb slide spring "detemper" over time, and become less effective as the engine gets hot?

I'm gonna look for a spring I can replace the stock spring with (any spring will do...just want to try to confirm my theory that the spring isn't pushing the slide closed)
