Please help I just bought a new battery and it only stays charged for a couple of rides and if i put the lights on it drains the battery i know it is the charging system could anyone tell where the location of and what part to change

You still have more testing to do so you can identify the problem/fix. First thing I would do is check the output of the stator. You might want to post this in the ATV section though because someone there is more likely to have a wiring diagram for it.
