2005 ZX6R (636) BLUE
$7550 (Honda East Toledo, USA)

anyone know/seen anywhere else who can beat this price, if not is it worth haggling with Honda East, will they budge ?

Ha. Yay Ohio. I didn't feel like driving to Honda East (About an hour drive) So I just printed off their online ad with the 500R price ($4350 I think) and showed the dealer down the street. He matched it no problem. I was happy to save 600 bucks.

And no, I never found a better price. They have the best Suzuki/Honda/Kawa prices I've ever seen. New bikes at least...used prices are ok.

I find it hard to believe you can pick up a brand new 600 off the show room floor for less than $7500.

This is 2005. An 04 isnt brand new. Yes, you can pick up an 04 636 bone stock with a few hundred miles on it for about $5300 pretty easy if you look.

Personaly I'd rather have the new 05 for about $2,000 more. Undertail is sooo sexy. The rear torque limiter is WAY nice. And the new body design is to die for. I am really having a hard time deciding between the 03/04 and the 05 for a track bike. I just dont think I can justify the cost of a brand new bike for a track bike right now. Not without a couple more years of experiance on the track. If I was buying it for the street though it would DEFINATLY be the 05, HANDS DOWN!!

well actuly, they still have 04's with almost 0 miles on them... and yes it would still be considerd brand new, to most people anyways.... and the 05 goes for 1k-1.5k more than the 05, not 2k+

If the bike has never been registered it is still brand new. You get a "new" title when you buy it. There are some Suzuki SV1000s bikes around that are still brand new from 2003.

The 2005 zx6r (636) MSRP is $8699.00 The 2004 zx6r MSRP $7999.00. If you can buy the 05 for $7550.00, I'd say that is a good buy.

There is a BIG price difference between the 600 and the 636....about $1500.00 difference, rca was asking about the 636!

Ya your right. The 600s are more expencive hehe.

Even if you saved $1500 on a "brand new" 04 instead of an 05 I'd go with the 05. They upgraded so many things this year its unreal.
