Hello all...

I've been asking this question for quite a few years, but thought I risk asking it here yet again... " Have any of you ever found an easy simple way to check the oil level on your Vulcan without doing the dangerous balancing act, or the flashlight and mirror trick ?? ""

Please excuse me BUT I just had to ask !

best regards....

one would think that after many years of hearing complaints on the oil level check balancing act that the designers at Kawasaki would yield and install an on kickstand callibration for checking the oil OR, heavens forbid, install a dipstick type device for checking the oil.

Thanks guys...

Sorry but I just had to ask... Like the "purty girl" solution, tried the 2x4s, and finally just gave in to the 'balancing act'... only concession I made was to mount a very small 'spirit level' on top of the coolant tank so I could do the check after each fill-up. But Spok, you're right on with the comment about Kawa Engineers !.... Sadomasochists one and all!

best regards...
