I need to give my front brake pads a cleaning/scuffing. I had some powdercoating done on the rotors and they just dont seem to be "biting" like they should. there must be some powder residue on there. how would i go about cleaning them?

Thanks,
Robb

You could try fine grit sandpaper or Brakekleen spray but it might also be the rotors themselves. Same thing happens if they get heat glazed, just don't seem to work right. Might have to be cut.

A little brake cleaner and 400 grit wet/dry paper should clean 'em right up.
