Hello,

I am excited to install my saddlebags & the supports... but I am stumped.

Cobra's instruction manual is not perfectly clear & there are no pictures to follow..

Step 1: Remove the bolts from the left side of rear fender but do not discard hardware.

1st question: Do they mean the bolts that hold the chrome strut cover? Or after I remove those, remove the ACTUAL bolts holding the fender??

I did both, but don't see how it attaches, not know which point to attach it to. Seems the fender bolts are not long enough to go through the support to the fender... and using only the 6mm bolts for the strut (which is also holding the SissyBar) seems odd to.

Anyone done this with the Cobra supports?
Thank you,
-Ryan

They use the 6mm strutt cover mount locations. They should have come with longer hardware, if not, you'll need to get some. If your sissy bar uses the same locations to mount, you'll need to be creative in making things fit( hardware length, any necessary spacers, etc.). I use my Cobra brackets with a luggage rack system when I have all that mounted so I know what you're going thru.
