I have the Corbin Gun Figher & Lady Seat with Carbon Fiber Style Leather on my 2002 Ninja 500R (EX500D)

Corbin lists that this seat will fit a Ninja 500 from 1994-2003.

Hey Imposter, just checked out your profile, it says your from Long Island, NY.

If so, you may want to wait on the seat. I bought mine at a discounted price from Corbin at the Americade Motorcycle Ralley in Lake George, NY. I paid $186 with shipping at the Americade two years ago. It should still be about the same price. I know it's like a 260 mile drive for you, but the show is great to see at least once and they get 30,000-50,000 motorcycles that drive in. Sometimes it's just fun to look at the bikes.

The show is comming up soon, it's June 7-12,2004.

Here's the link to the Americade Website: http://tourexpo.com/04/index2.html

Put it this way, I've had the Corbin for two years now. Last year I put the stock seat back on, it stayed on a total of 20 minutes, then I put the Corbin back on. It makes a big difference over the stock seat. If you can, try a bike out that has one on.

Sorry about the poor pic. Actually, You can't see it in the pick, but the leather has a carbon fiber look to it. I hope to get a better pic when I get the bike out of storage in May. I'd do it sooner, but all we've been getting is rain here in NY.

Corbin actually has different leather textures to choose from when you buy a seat from them directly, which I did through a motorcycle ralley. You can also choose what color you want the seam to be. I choose Balck Seam/Black Carbon Fiber Texture.

nice! Although I am **** sure this seat will rock, I wish I could sit on one first.
I thought that too, but hey, you'd still have your old seat if you don't like it.
The way I looked at it when i bought mine was, "There's always eBay if I don't like the Seat."
