Anyone installed an electronic cruise control on a Vulcan? I have a 1600 Classic.

never seen one electronic 8) -just the ole throttle lock with a clamp
A friend of mine just installed one on his VTX1800. It is made by a company out of Australia. http://www.mccruise.com/

I haven't seen it the unit yet, but he says it works great. As opposed to a throttle control, it will maintain a set speed up and down hills.

They did not have any units listed for a Kawasaki so I e-mailed them and got this response:

THANKS FOR THE INQUIRY.

WE DO NOT HAVE A BIKE SPECIFIC UNIT FOR YOUR VULCAN.

WE WILL HAVE A UNIVERSAL UNIT IN ABOUT 2 MONTHS.

THE UNIT WILL SELL FOR $450 - 500 US DOLLARS.

KEEP CHECKING OUR WEB PAGE FOR UPDATES.

REGARDS,

RON
MCCRUISE USA

I have my name on a list for them to let me know when they are available.

These guys have been around a while. I remember their site from when I was looking for a cruise for an older Goldwing. That was about 4 years ago.
