I have been working on getting my 1996 zx7r back on the road since I bought it from a buddy who didn't have the time anymore. The bike is now running and I was wanting to put on a new exhaust. I really like the Boz Bros exhaust systems that I see on a lot of R1's but they don't have any applications for the Kawi. So I have a buddy who is a real good welder and we were thinking of welding up a custom exhaust but I want to keep the right amount of back pressure to maximize hp. Can anyone tell me anything about the baffles I need or anything I would need to know. Thx

Baffles are commonly used to reduce the sound levels of exhaust and also aid in the build up of back pressure.

Im not so much looking for the sound reduction but the build up of back pressure for the best possible performance.
