I've been reading some of the problems with stalling at speed but this is a new one on me. I was coming down the freeway passing a car and doing my top end of about 90 mph. My 800 drifter, year 2000, just cut out like it coughed or something. I let off and slowed but realized that the motor was running. I sped back up and again attempted to reach 90mph and the same thing happened, just a cut out. Maybe she just doesn't want to go that fast. Maybe I don't either. Anybody else experience this phenom?

Sounds like it was possibly a lean condition in the main jetting. Have you made any air flow changes lately? The main jet controls fuel flow from 3/4 to full throttle. You might try running a fatter main jet before doing any major detective work. Also check the pug for proper color which will tell you of a lean problem if it exists.
