I switched gears for a while and since i decided to do the painting myself, gave the shop a complete make-over, including building a permanent paint booth!

Hello all, i'm finally back to working on the 800 bobber. I'm hooking my coils back up and after an hour of Googling, i can't find which wire goes to which lead on the coils. I know green is rear, black is front, then there are the 2 reds, but there is a black and a green connector on the coils. Which wires go where? It's not on the schematic, which makes me think it doesn't matter but i want to know for sure. And if this is a dumb question a little "coils 101" would be greatly appreciated as well.

It's called a mustang style from custom chrome but i think other places carry it.

Well it's done!....Well, as "done" as a bike ever is. I rode this bike for the first time ever, yesterday. It wasn't ridable when i bought it. I made the exhaust by welding a few pieces from old exaust systems laying around and it sounds great. It's very fun to ride and turns a lot of heads. If anyone is interested in the forward controls, foot pegs, headlight mount, taillight mount, or battery tray, they can be had from RefinedCycle.com.

Way to go, liken red frame and side mounted battery,
Curious about under the seat, did you mount the fuse box,CDI under there?
If so post some pics, I have no plans for a calendar, still have some 2012's

Yeah i used the bracket i made and posted last December. The Plate ended up hiding the coil nicely. And so far the rectifier seams fine hidden under the front sprocket cover.

Welding the exhaust together.

I used pieces of old exhaust to put together the short pipes for the vulcan.
