This is just odd to me, Deron's service will be on the same day that Stano our shuttle driver and conga player and my life long friend and brother passed away on. It's almost to much for me when I see the two of them together in some of the Red Lodge pictures, it is very very sad!
Jim, Thanks for creating this. It is a great tribute to Deron and all of the people who's life he touched and those that touched his. I still can't believe he is gone. I'm going to miss him so much. He was always there for me and was a great friend.

Jim Thank you for honoring Deron in this way, Deron loved this forum and the people that he met on here. Deron touched many lives through this forum, but everyone from this forum that met Deron and or exchanged posts with him touched his life too. That was evident becuase he loved to share stories about his rides and experiences with people that he met on here. Deron I will forever miss your friendship and that great big signature grin that you would flash me, know matter where we were or what we were doing. I know you are on your C14 riding the twisties in heaven Gods speed my friend we will ride together again someday.

I was chatting with Dave yesterday about how it only took one weekend on our part to cement a friendship with Deron. You only needed to meet Deron once to realize you were in the company of someone special. I have friends and aquaintances whom I've known for years, people in my hometown who I see every month, and the connection between myslef and them doesn't hold a flame to the friendship and brotherhood I felt for Deron, and feel for many of the family that I have met thru this forum.
One thing in particular that I noticed was that Deron lived for his children. If he wasn't with them, then he was talking about them, or posting pictures of them here on this forum. Among all of the things this world has lost, it has lost a great Father.

That is so true, Carlo. His parents and brother and girlfriend have suffered a terrible loss. And his friends will never be the same again. But those children... I can't bear to think about it. I'm glad that they're old enough to have a lot of memories of their dad to carry them through life. It is such a huge, huge tragedy.

i feel too sappy to attend another fallen friend's funeral this year.
with randy's passing(budwsr) i gained another very good friend...
i doubt anyone could fill deron's shoes though.
i will see if i feel up to it.
