I'm about to install flush-mounted LED front turn signals on my ZX636. I'm also about to take my DMV roadtest to get my Motorcycle endorsement down here in Florida. The first thing the examiner does is check that turn signals and tail lights are all functioning properly. If he sees after market turn signals (which aren't quite as big and bright as the stock ones) will he disqualify me just for that?

If so I will of course wait until after the test to install the goodies. Has anyone had this experience?

I seriously doubt that most of the DMV examiners would know the difference.
My ex sister-in-law was an examiner for the DMV for motorcycle endorsments. She was a good gal but knew absolutly nothing about starting, riding or maintaining a bike.

Yamaha Warrior has an LED taillight system with a white lens. It must be DOT approved or it would never pass inspection. More bikes are going to this. Bulb changes will be a thing of the past.
