Hi All,

I'm riding to work and doing so only short of a hail storm, tornado, earthquake, or other intense natural phenomenon.

Should rain water (non-storm type) contacting the hot engine cause me concern for the welfare of the bike/engine/pipes?

I don't mind the rain as it's all part of the experience, but at the same time don't want to break something foolishly.

Any advice would be welcomed.

RAIN

Rain, acid rain, snow slush salt water...yes it will have an effect on appearance...but it shouldn't hurt yor bike...soap and water and a little blow dry, or shammy, or even riding it righ afterwards to blow the water off...you could polish the bike...see www.por15.com or just let it turn a dull silver...
