I was a bad boy because I didn't put any gas stabilizer in my fuel system before putting my ZX11 away for the winter. It is stored in a heated basement and it has only been 90 days since I filled the tank, but I don't want to take any chances. Therefore, I completely drained the fuel tank, and I want to drain the carbs.

Question:

What is the best way to drain the carbs on a 1998 ZX11?


After I get all the gas removed from the system, I am going to fill it up, and like a good boy, add the fuel stabilizer this time.

there will be drain screws on the BOTTOM of the float bowls. prob. have a line coming down from them that goes under the bike (all the lines you see hanging down) just crack them open and they will drain out. have a big oil pan under it so you dont have gas all over the place.
