So alot of us have the followed the threads that have our western friends have turned into their group hug this summer. I know the group on the eastern side of the country is much better looking :grin: and would hate to see those pics show up in July without at least a try to pull something together out here. Honda Hoot, Blue Ridge/Deals Gap or something up in Virginia so we can pull in the NE clan. Any thoughts? I'll cruise through and see what events we could gather around but let's see if there is any interest.

I am in (potentially). I live in NC, and am familiar with the Mid-Atlantic area. I love to hug (trees, that is).
There's the Myrtle beach thing in May (I think), the Daytona thing later. Outer Banks has a bike week in the late summer, Raleigh has a bike thing in the spring, Lynchburg VA has an HD convention in June this year, etc, etc. Might be fun. Maybe meet around Damascus VA in spring - Trail days and all...

Think you made a faux pas on "the only good looking one". I'm sure the ladies are going to hang with us now, we know they are the best looking of the bunch, thanks for the help. I'd be happy be the "least relatively ugly" but even that is probably a struggle...at least I got your competitive juices flow'n. Don't OD on Botox before the pix

You guys hit a cold spell in the mountians and you just might have to share some of that bodily heat (careful Julie). Besides, if we're near the beach I can guarantee we'll at least find some people pix that we'll say were with us that would put you to shame, and may even make you blush.
I hope you guys don't feel threatened that some of the westerners may come our way. You have some tremendous roads and scenery but after all, it is only the west :lol:

no worries, take a pic on the beach with all the swimsuit clad beuties and i'll use photoshop and put them in my pics in the mountain....lol, its all good. Okay, so I think you suckered me into responding so I'd turn into a Turtle Wax Taster. Spent a few days trying to figure out if I could meet up with you guys but life sometimes gets in the way. Be great to pull of some type of ride out here, time will tell but springs aropund the corner and people are going to start getting anxious.

I'm not the only woman going to Montana, am I? I thought a wife or two was coming along as well. Not that I mind...
But that *is* a lot of testosterone all in one place!I think it's great that you east coast folks are planning a get-together. It's tough trying to find a place that works for everyone in a big country like this. Another forum I'm on (nonmotorcycle related) was planning a get-together last year, and we had a tough time trying to figure out where to do it. In the end, we picked Minnesota because several people on the forum who couldn't afford to travel already lived there, and it was at least sort of centrally located. But, in the end, another group of people got together in Arizona. We used web cams to watch each other's get-togethers (which were a week apart) and it was almost as much as being there in person.

I'm also in North Carolina,not to far from some of the other one's on here.Flynsouth,you're only about 40 miles from me,jonesie619 about the same. We are all almost in the central part of NC,so really,we're not far from anybody in this state! So OK,lets get us a eastern meet somewhere on this side of the world!!!
