Electric accessory hook up - Vulcan 1500 classic??

Hi all,
I am looking at adding a 12V cigarette lighter/power adapter to my bike for gps/siruis/ipod etc. I found another topic that stated that the 900 Vulcan's have contacts already setup for something like this. Does the 1500 also have the additional contacts, and if so where would I find them on the bike?

Thanks in advance for any input and help.

Flanman,

My 03 1500 has two sets of accessory wiring. First is under the drivers seat, right in front of the battery. The second is under the instrument panel on the gas tank. Both easy to get to. I have a waterproof cigarette/socket wired directly to the one under the instrument panel.
Who manufactured the waterproof socket and where did you get it? Thanks
If they are not there, try looking in the headlight bucket. When I needed a set for my radio, Richlocker clued me in to the headlight. Althought the 1500 may be in a different location to my 1600 NoMad.

You're right. My front set are in the headlight bucket. It's an '04 1500.
My socket was inexpensive, from my local auto parts store, advanced auto, no particular brand that I recall
