I'm curious if anyone has hooked up an inverter on a 4-wheeler. I have one (that was given to me) that I've been scared to hook up on my powerstroke and was thinking of putting it on my 04 360 prairie to run power tools etc. out in the woods at the deer lease etc., but I don't want to fry my system. Anybody have any input?? Thx.

Electrical Power #2

I forgot to mention, this is a hard-wired inverter. I have a 12v power port that came with the quad, but thought about hooking up the inverter for other 110 stuff like drill battery charger, saw, lights etc. I know with a saw, I'd have to check the amp. draw and make sure the inverter was rated. Just a thought. I've had it sitting around a couple of years unused. Thx.

I have a 440 watt inverter ( canadian tire) connected to my KVF360 directly to the Battery with #10 AWG wires and a 30 amp fuse in the positive line, this works great for and device which takes less than 400 watts. If a higher output heavier gauge wire and fuses should be used
