On my 2003 Classic I installed a manual cruise control....took a whole 2 minutes to do so. I used it extensively this summer on my vacation and thought....what a great upgrade this was!..
Thanks whistle for the info, I had a vista cruise throttle lock type control on my 800 and it worked great. I think i want to go to an electronic on this bike so it will keep a constant speed on hills and such. I took a 1000 mile ride last summer and went through all kinds of terrain, from desert to hills. The instructions look a little intimidating but I think I could handle it. One step at a time. The price sure is right. Thanks again,

please let us know what you decide to go with. i may just have to take the time to read that entire article tonight. the manual locks are nice and easy, but electronic would just be that much better, and you're right, the price isn't too bad either. thanks.
