I'm moving down from about 7,000 feet to approx. 250 feet above sea level. I'm shipping my bike. My question is: Do I need to slightly over-inflate my tires in the mountains so they will have enough pressure at or near sea level?

Your tires inflated at 7,000 ft will show ~4 psi less at sea level. Your pressure measurement is psig not psia. Just for grins do a compression check before you move. Check it again at sea level. You'll see a jump in cranking pressure.

Thanks...The last trip I made over land to Florida, a partially filled water bottle I took along collapsed under the increased pressure. I was just concerned that my tires might not be inflated enough to ride comfortably when I pick up my bike after the trip.
