Hi guys, I'm new on here.
I'm looking to buy a Vulcan (VN800 here in UK) or the drifter version to mildly customise.
I notice that the two versions seem to have different engine casings, the Vulcan has chrome and the drifter seems to have silver painted with slight fins on the right hand side.
Is the drifter version some sort of cover that goes over the actual engine casing or are they completely different castings?
I'd go and have a look at one for sale but there are no drifters for sale at the moment within easy traveling distance.
Thanks in advance for any help, I'm sure there'll be many more questions:smile:

Hi, they are different casing that are interchangeable between the bikes. The Drifter cases sure looks better than the ordinary plain ones IMO.
