Hey guys.
I've been in the process of rebuilding and restoring an old 1982 kawasaki kz305, and I've encountered a bit of an issue that I can't quite seem to wrap my head around.
So when I plugged in both spark plugs to the boots from the coil and turned the engine over, it was discovered that only the right side of the engine was sparking.
Here's the kicker though.
When I unplugged the right side spark plug and tested only the left side with nothing changed, the left side spark plug from the same coil sparked perfectly. It seems the engine is favoring one coil/cylinder, but it's strange to me that the left side sparks perfectly only when the right side spark plug is unplugged.
Any suggestions?
