my last post was about my clutch hitting the casing and i thought it was because i hadnt used a gasket but now ive realised that it seems to stop hitting when you pull in the clutch lever it doesnt make sense because surely when u pull clutch lever the clutch would hit the casing even more but it doesnt it stops hitting anyone shed any light on this the bikes been in the garage for weeks i need to get it goin suffering from withdrawel symptoms

and know the bike has decided it wants to rev on its own ive checked all carb hoses reed valves for leaks cant find anything wrong with them any ideas guys

I would check the clutch hub and everything else to make sure it's all in correctly. As for the throttle problem inspect the throttle cable at the perch as it will allow the bike to rev if it's not adjusted correctly.

I don't remember if you replaced the clutch pack...did you put an extra set of plates in?
Another possibility: If you didn't have the actuator arm in the right position, the push rod may not be setting in far enough and holding the pressure plate out too far.

had a very similar situation on one of my 125's, I replaced all the bearings and spacers, still same noise, what I found was a slight dent in the cover that it would rub on when just idling, out of gear, as soon as you'd pull in the clutch it was gone.

yes, I mean that. The arm where the clutch cable connects. There is a flat area, and when you pull the clutch, the rounded part causes the pushrod to push the pressure plate out, disengaging the clutch. If you have it installed wrong, the rod would always be pushed too far out, causing the pressure plate to contact the case.
