I got a really nice suprise yesterday when I visited the dealership in McAllen Tx. where I bought my bike used. The manager was telling me how to check Kawasaki's website for recalls by using my VIN number and we learned that a two year full coverage extended warranty had been purchased on the bike by the previous owner after the initial sale.....so it did'nt show up when I bought the bike. He transfered the warranty into my name(no charge) and it made me feel even better about the great deal I got on this bike in the first place!
To check on your bikes recalls or any warranty info all you have to do is go to the Kawasaki website and click on warranty information and enter your VIN, it's simple and could give you valuable info about a recall or just how much warranty coverage you really have.
Hope this will help someone out there!

Thanks for the tip. You got my hopes up! But alas, my warranty was up two years ago. Still, this is a great tip for everyone who purchases a used bike.
