finally took it in for repairs.

Well i took the old fizzer into the shop today, either a clutch or a trans problem. I am bracing myself for the reeming im about to take when i get the bill :-( im keeping my fingers crossed that its not the trans. Otherwise it might be off the proverbial cliff for that bike.
