Here is a recipe to try. From a VFD in Wisconsin.
(making them right now)

Fire Station Brats.
2 pkgs. of Johnsonville Fresh Brats(10)
1 onion
1 bottle of GOOD Ketchup. 28-32oz
1-2 bottles of beer.

Grill the brats until fully cooked and thoroughly browned.

Transfer the brats into the above mixture. It should be thick like gravy.
I'm heating up the mixture and then placing the brats in the pan.
(Using the wifes big, expensive fry pan.....wish me luck!)

Simmer the brats until ready to serve.
Can be from 2-4 hours.

They will be tasty and tender.

Recipe is from the Sauk City,Wisc. VFD.

Honey Roasted Sweet Corn
