Hi there Smithers, I have just completed a Vulcan 900 bobber conversion and had fantastic service from Blue Collar Bobbers in Utah. Googletheir web address bluecollarbobbers. There are specific parts for Vulcan 800 and Lance is very helpful. Good luck.

Hello all,
I have looked at blue collar but i decided that i am to headstrong to bolt a "kit" on and then claim that i hand built my bike. after seeing everything that others have done I am confident that i need to but my own spin on the "bobber" however i think when i get down mine may fall into the category of chopper so maybe i will call it a mark smith "bopper"

hmm....you know bopper just doesnt sound manly

anyway i need to give a big shout to mrbrinson for helping me with my tank. it arrived today and now i am once again excited about my bike again so hopefully you will all see many pictures of all my progress showing up soon.

don't use the blue collar bobber stuff, who wants to take a stock bike the factory handed you, and end up with a bike a third party manufacturer basically handed you. There's pride in doing and making things yourself that you'll never be able to bolt on to your bike.

well i got my new tank and started to work on that again and i am not going to lie, not very motivated right now being so close to christmas and what not. Today i was looking around and decided i am going to try moving my fuse box and all that under the stock tank. I wasnt going to but for the last month i have really gotten used to not seeing anything under my seat. so i suppose its a good thing i had to start over on the tank after all

I have the tank, seat, and battery off of mine at the moment and already asked myself "do I really need a tank and a seat? Looks good all slim down". Very slowly working on the electronics under the seat to clean them up a bit. I took out an aftermarket alarm the other day and hope she still starts in the spring.

so i am having some trouble finding a good quality throttle clamp. i ordered one and it is to small for the throttle tube and too large to clamp to my bars anyway. so i am done with something cheap i have been looking around and cannot find anything now that has positive reviews. before when i looked i found alot but now for some reason nothing is showing up. can anyone suggest a good option.

Hey bud, just looking at your project. Looks pretty sweet. As a new father and recently buying my first home I feel your pain when momma wants something. I saw your looking for a seat for cheap. I have the springer model that's on my bike the photos. It's just a black springer that with the right mounting is pretty comfortable as long as your still running rear suspension. I just upgraded to a hand tooled deal with a jack Daniels bottle label overlaid. If you want my old one send me a message I'd be down to cut you a smoking deal on it (its brand new, and probably free). People helping people!! Good luck with the scoot bro.

thanks i sent you a message, i have been making some progress on the bike summer is just around the corner. I think it will probably just get bolted back together so i can start riding it again. I really hoped to get it done this winter however life waits for noone. Playing around with a crazy thought on the handlebars might not be comfortable i will post pics later tonight.

So I need done help. I started putting my bike back together and I hooked up all the wires and hit the start button. All that is happening is the starter relay clicks. It turned over last tome I tried after I got done thinning my wires so I cannot think what could have changed.
