Finally found a 45 degree day with no ice and not too much sand on the roads. Had a religious experience and thought of all of you! Ride on Kawi brothers!

P.S. Can anyone think of a reason why it would hurt to ride with the toolbox taken off of the top of the battery? Like to be able to charge it quick...

What can I say you suck you suck you suck. (just kidding) Hope you enjoyed the ride. Alf will now go shovel more snow and chip more ice.

I can't think of any reason... except don't put the tools back in to short it out. I bought a connector for my Battery Tender ($5.00) which I leave connected to the battery permanently. When I lift the seat, all I have to do it connect the Battery Tender to the connector. It routes around the toolbox easily.

I did the same thing out here in Utah. I went for a nice cool December ride. I had to bundle up with a few extra layers but it was well worth it. I sure wish that there were more days like today this time of year.

The main streets are clear in Fort Collins, but our street is a solid block of ice. I would never make it down to the main street. :)

Good for you!

Enjoy the ride. The only problem that comes to mind about not having your tools with you, is not having your tools wth you. That is if you happen need them while out there.

Right. Silly thought I had that the seat was not as braced off of the battery without the tool kit directly under my a s s ...probably just my imagination.
