I drained out the factory oil on my 610 at 8 hours and put in Motorcraft 15w40. The drained oil had a sparkle to it from break in. Plan on changing it again at around 20 hours. Just wondered if I maybe should have gone with a 10w40 or maybe even a 5w40 since its already getting down around the mid teens here in the mornings. What do you all feel is a safe temperature for the 15w40 on cold mornings.

15-40 is good for down about 10 below zero F. 10-40 is good down to minus 20. 5-40 is good down to 30 below.
