Lo all:D

I am going to be fitting new brake lines to my ZXR750 H1 1989. I have heard that it is good to heat up the washers for the banjo connections to make them more pliable for a better seal.

I have rebuilt the calipers with new seals and pads, and used copperslip on the bolts.

Any help here please, never done brake lines before.

Thanks.

I have never heard of that, it's not necessary at all, just tq them to the proper spec and use new washers and you will be fine. I replaced the old rubber lines on my GPz1100 with braided and the lever feels so much better
