My next project is the repair the leaky fork seal I have on the left side of my 85 ZN1100 b2.

I believe I should try to obain a set of fork tubes from a salvage yard and rebuild them / practice on them. I'd rather not destroy the ones I have now.

Since I will be in a salvage yard, how should I proceed to searching in case I can not find a bike like mine. How does one identify the fork tubes as being like another bikes?

Also, I am not seeing seal kit assemblies for the tubes in the Kawasaki schematics. I feel this is gonna cost a bit more that the $50 I spent on the starter.

Thanks for any input.

the best suggest that I can think of is to take measurement and pictures with you take measurements such as tube diameters, mounting points for brake, axle diameter, etc, etc the pictures will help in reference to the measuring
