1600 classic 2006 noise coming from front wheel drives me crazy. At first thought was cam chain tension but after ride test tech said it,s not from the motor, so is something that when in motion at 30mph start whamming. It,s not wharp disc cause there's no vibration while breaking. I notice calipers have some kind of play. It's this suppose to be like that? maybe thats the problem or maybe the bearings or the shaft.Front tire it's new, and this is something going on for a while but more noticeabla later. Help:-o

Hi, I have a 1980 Kawasaki 750 twin. While moving slowly I noticed a rubbing grinding noise from the front tire . I have tried to find. It doesn't involve a full revolution. Its a soft grind in only part of the revolution. There are no wear marks on the tire so I have decided its not a fender rub. I would think bearings would make a continuous noise. Someone said there could be a tiny rock stuck in the caliper and when the ever so slightly warped disk moves around that High spot touches the rock. Guess it'
s time for the stethoscope. Have no center stand which makes it a little more difficult. Any other ideas?

Does leaning the bike change the noise? If so, Check the rear tire for cupping/age. I had the same issue on a Vulcan 800.
