I just installed a visufilter fuel filter on my bike. But I had grease on my fingers, from just putting together my choke cable lever assembly. Some grease may have gotten into the fuel line, or inside the fuel filter. I am not sure what type of grease it was.

Will gasoline dissolve the grease and let it pass through the fuel filter, or will the grease clog my fuel filter? Should I replace the fuel filter?

In general, how often should I replace these fuel filters?

Thank you.

Shouldn't be any worry there. Change the filter when it gets very dark or you notice the bike running rough like it's starving.
