Bumpy and sometime undulating surface will cause a cutout. Always picks back up just keeping in the throttle. Gas tank is clean and no obvious bad electric connections. Keeping me riding close to home. This is a 2007 Vulcan Nomad 1600. Any advice?

have you modified the handle bars in any way, however minor, like adding risers?

Adding several yrs ago shouldn't affect anything. This may be a real puzzler unless you have a way of replicating it at home. Does the bike have a way of pulling and clearing fault codes?

I seem to remember some posts on another forum years ago about intermittent troubles on 1500 and/.or 1600 Vulcans being defective wiring in the harness above the rear cylinder... unfortunately, that's about all I remember, might prop up the tank and poke around in there while running.,,,
