I have a 2007 900 Custom with 3800 miles and my gas float got stuck the other day. Tried filling the tank, no help - still stuck. My dealer says they will probably have to remove the tank to fix it.

Anyone have any suggestions or has anyone had a similar experience.

If it's gotta be replaced, the tank would have to come off. Did you lay the bike down to get it out of catiwompus?
Under warranty anyway right?

its really not that difficult to remove the tank, just take off the plastichrome housing and its only two bolts and a rubber bushing-then ud probably have to remove the fuelpump in order to reach into the tank, or just remove the float arm and fix it by hand. Good luck!
