I am now the proud owner of a 2005 ZZR600. I put about 50 miles on it last night, and let me tell, despite the fact that I can't go over 4k rpm (and hence 50mph, which really limits my riding area), I couldn't be happier with my purchase (except maybe the extended warranty, I'm still drawn on whether or not buying it was a good idea).
This bike is awsome. It handles wonderfully, it's incredibly comfortable for a sport bike, and I can tell there's plenty of power waiting for me after a proper break in.
Thanks everyone who gave me advice on bikes, I'm definitely one happy buyer.
