hi guys i am still fairly new to the site but you have helped me once already and i hope you can do so again. i have a 96 gpz500s the problem i am having is this the bike keeps going off the right hand cylinder and will not come back onto it untill i change the plug ( i have become very good at this and can do it on the road side) the old plug will be black and wet. the new plug will only last a few days and then the same again. i have looked at the carbs they are clean , i have fitted a new air fitler and the fuel is clean can any one help this is becoming relly annoying thanks guy look forward to hearng from you.:smile:

Most likely be an ignition problem then Damo.

Try temporarily swapping the coils over to the opposite pots or swapping the low-tension feed and leads over if the wires will reach, see if the left-pot starts acting up.

If so it might be the coil itself, the lead and/or suppressor-cap or the pickup-coil for the right-hand pot. The manual will give some specs for resistance tests on all of them to help you.
