Hi All,

First post here so be gentle with me.

Just wanted to if anyone knows of any US dealers who would ship to the UK?

I am particularly keen to take advantage of the strong pound/weak dollar and prices look very attractive at the moment.

If anyone can help, I'm also interested in what the shipping costs would be.

Many thanks.

Hi Vinny! Welcome to the board.

What of the UK do you live in? My sister lives in Shropshire.

Vinney,

You can get an idea of shipping by going to a couple of websites.

our post office
www.usps.com

parcel carrier
www.ups.com
Keep in mind that you may have to pay import tax (VAT??) and a broker fee so ask questions.

www.dhl.com

I find the post office is usually the cheapest to send though.

Thanks for all your replies guys (and lasses). Great to have such a warm welcome. Just wish it was a bit warmer here in the UK. I'm from just north of London, in Hertfordhire - the leafy suburbs. Also interesting to see a number of Brits on the board.

Haven't had a bike for quite a few years but my last was a GT750 which I simply adored. Toured around Europe a number of times.

I reckon I'll check out the shipping costs through the post office, ups, dhl, etc to give me some idea. Also will confess the import tax was something I hadn't taken into consideration.

Thanks again - will certainly return to this board again.

Vinny
