I put a set of Heli Mod. risers on todayand although I didn't get a chance to ride far they are a great change.They come up 1.75 in. and back .75 in. much better for an old fat man. I can easily see a 700 to 1000 mile day now.

A small request -could you possibly get a pic taken of you on the bike with the new risers. I'm very interested in the riding position of the new Connie especially for us older folks...

Speaking of weight issues -I've lost some weight recently and it's got me looking into a more sporty ride (I'm a Nomad rider). But even the new slim/trim me is not sure the C14 riding position would be as comfy on a 2k trip as my Nomad's recliner riding position. :wink:

Hi Plato, I'm 5'10'' with a 30 inseam, the saddle height
is a bit of a stretch but not un-reachable. My other bike is a GoldWing so the recliner is not lost on me. The Connie is
a Whole different world but very rideable. My adult responsibilities (work) have kept me from stretching it much, so far my longest day was around 350 mi. not a stretch at all.
