Hello - I'm looking to purchase 2" risers for my 04 1500 nomad. I'd like to know if you have any suggestions. Anyone buy any from Ebay? Would any of these be OK?

Any of those should fill the bill. All of those look like the ones I had on my bike for a short time, except mine were 3". I am curious as to your reason for the risers. Is it for looks or better riding comfort? If it is for comfort, you may find yourself changing bars after having the risers for a while. That's what happened to me. If it's for looks, there are some really nice looking ones that also give you additional pullback. I ended up going to apes and have never looked back.

I got a set of "Spacer Jim's" 2" spacers for the V2K. A simple, highly polished, aluminum spacer that fits beneath your stock risers. Perfect match, comes with hardware. I'm very pleased and they're only $25.

Comfort for sure. I'm looking to get the handlebars a little closer to me. I find right now I have to "reach" for the bars when sitting on the motorcycle. Also trying to eleviate the pain between the shoulder blades on longer rides. I don't have to reack too far for the bars now. Just thought a little closer would be more comfortable. That's why I'm thinking 2"-3" would be enough?

The 3 inchers and stock bars felt pretty good. I was looking more for height than reach. I had to tilt the bars down a bit to find the sweet spot. It definitely helped with my low back pain. I then went to 16" apes and the pain was gone for good. The 3" spacers will bring them back a bit. There are other risers that will give you a lot more pull back, but they are much more expensive, I believe. $15 is cheap enough to experiment with. .................cheaper than $450-500 for apes and all the related hardware.

I had the same problem, so I got the PHAT II risers from scootworks. The bars went up 1.5 -2 inches and back 1. didn't have to change the wires or hoses. The pain between my shoulders is gone even on long rides.

It's amazing how such a small change can make such a big difference.

Did you buy the polished or chrome. What I like about the phatrisers is they're PHAT - J/K:) Seriously, they not only raise the bars, they also bring them closer.
