I have a Vulcan 750 and the cover to the "tool box" located on the back of the seat broke off. I've spent hours looking for a replacement but it does not seem to exist. Ideas anyone?

Thanks,
Jason

Good idea. I've been checking Ebay weekly for a few months now. I've seen a total of 2. One was broken just like mine, the other was cracked and worn and still went for over $85.

Had the same thing happen with my old 750, search after search and the best option I found was to go through your local kawi dealer (according to the FAQ on the kawi website).
The only other way I could think of is to find the local junk motorcycle yard/shops and look out back, though I don't think you will find plastic in very good shape back there.

When the cover on my 85 700 broke off (did you know that in 85 they reduced the 750 to a 700 to avoid an import tax, then back to 750 in 86) , I traded up to my 1500.

Maybe the bad stater had something to do with it too ;)
