Well I want to know, who ticked off Mother Nature, we had a really nasty ice / snow storm that has most all the town without power, water and or heat. I am fortunate enough to still have my gas heat and water. But here are some pics of the destruction around my house. CAUTION, these are large pics, 56kers beware.

snowing now here in Boston - light fluffy stuff for now - they are predicting about 6 - 10 inches. Another storm sunday i think. that one might get wet and icy..... I HATE winter.... lol

We have had ice storms like this before, that is why I now own a generator. I lost 9 huge trees in my back yard when the last one hit. I'm just glad we have missed the ice so far this year. I would ask our buds up in Oklahoma how they are doing, but most don't have power, phones, etc.
We have had lots of rain and temps in the 40's for the last 3 days. But the sun just came out so I hope I will get to ride some. I don't mind snow, but ice storms suck big time.

Believe it or not, I have taken a bike out in that type of weather. I was living in Austin when we had a snow storm. 1 foot the first day, then just enough heat to melt a little, froze over night, then snowed another foot the next day. It was not good. I only had a bike at the time (a Yama LS2). So I put on all the clothes I owned and went out. Took the poor little bike a while to warm up. I rode most of the time in second or third, never went over about 25mph and had both feet on the ground like pontoons a good bit of the time. There was almost no traffic and I stuck to roads where I could go down and not get hurt. Only went down a couple of times and didn't hurt me or the bike. I have to admit it was kind of fun. I would not take any big bike out if there was even a hint of ice on the road.

I got a new job in the same company, so I've been getting my old dept up to speed on what I do, and BOY, it was tough making stuff up.LOL. Tomorrow is my last day here, so I've been in crunch mode. I've been even working from home at night. That all ends Monday...WOOOHOOO!!!

I don't see us losing anytime soon, but I would rather it be in the next 3 games than after... Maybe to the Dolphins, imagine the headlines. I go to every home game, and this is the first game in 10years I can't get a ticket to. They (stubhub) want $115 for a standing room only ticket, which is what I always get for $49. I guess this video gate thing has sold out the game. I always get th SRO tickets, because I ended up getting in a fight years ago with an away fan for standing durring the game.

I am prepared for a loss, we New Englanders always are, at least until lately.

I can ALWAYS get a ticket It does help though that my dad's friend's dad is an ex-patriot. I've also never paid to go, but I haven't made a game this year

Whoa, those pictures look cool but boy that's a lot of damage. It reminds me of the big ice storm we had in eastern Canada in 98. Glad you made it through without too much damage.
