Hi everyone. New to this forum but not bikes. Got an opportunity to pick up a 1981 kz550 standard.

It's in pretty good condition only 9200 miles and from the original owner.

What price would you put on this if it were yours...and you were not keeping it?

It's not in the snow anymore, just to look at it and ride it around.

Price would vary depending on where you are, time of year (spring/winter etc) and condition of bike and engine. BTW I hope you don't go by that "28 psi front forks" that's written under the seat. That's very near what would blow the fork seals right out of the forks and would make for an extremely rough ride.

Seemed very high to me too. I was thinking somewhere around 10-15 most. The seals were just changed (wonder why).

Maybe 15 but I'd suspect it's probably closer to 6-8 psi.
