Ollie125//profile//setting
Ollie125...first of all you need to fill in your profile so that we can better help you. HELL yes, setting on a bike is VERY important. most people are not equally proportioned upper and lower portions of their bodies...if you have a 28W 36L pants or if you are 32w 32L, or if you have 28" arms or 36" arms it makes a difference on which bike that you get...YOU are the only person tha t will know if a bike FEELS right. and is right for how you want it to feel...Ther e are factors like short muddy forest riding, short and steep river and rocky riding or rides in which ar enothing but creeks, sand, rocks and traight up and down,,,or oifi yo are going to be in the desert with some wide open running, som e washouts, hard packed forestry roads, sand dunes, mud pits, maybe short track hardpack circualar racing, jumping, motocross...we need your input and your profile to help you to give you decent advice...I'm 51 years old and I'm telling you honestly what we need to know to help you make a decision. You can change gearing and all sorts of things...but tell us what feels great setting on an dtehn tell us wha tyo want to use the bike for. I used a 2 stroke dual purpose strictly for track racing once. a 175 Kawasaki in the 250 and below class. I did 3rd over all and 2nd place was only a couple points ahead of me...but the Honda 250 Elsinore was a bike that I couldnot get ahead of...I was literally outclassed and my riding skills helped me to take second many times during the season, but I ended up in third just ahead of a newer 175 Kawasaki.
