[EDIT] Thanks to all for your input. See new thread: "I've got a name! I've got a name!" to see what I chose.

Since I can't ride for a few days... It's dark when I get home from work and WILL NOT ride at night yet, I've decided it's time to name my bike.

I am looking for input from all of you. Of course, I don't want a name that is overused (my bike would just be one of the crowd). Something too strange and nobody can spell it or pronounce it. Oh, and nothing that would make me blush! So...

Here is my bike's description:
Vulcan 900 Classic LT
Pearl Crystal White /Metallic Titanium

I am considering the following, but feel free to add a "Write In."

Snow Leopard
White Knight
Sir Lancelot
Other???

Let's see y'all's creative side! :-D

Theres something about naming a bike.
I was going to name mine, but it didnt come to me, so i didnt do it.
I think a bikes name is something that just happens. its a feeling.
if it doesnt happen soon, then its just called "bike" LOL
of your three, I like "White Knight"

We have to know if your bike is male or female. I was asking my wife if my 900 needed a name and suggested something female. She very quickly told me that my bike was NOT female! I asked her why and she couldn't tell me, other than just to say my 900 was definitely male! So which is it, boy or girl?

First of all, no offence but those are some pretty bad suggestions for naming yer bike. but it is yer bike.

Secondly, naming yer bike if ya choose to do it(i didn't) is something that is totally personal and asking other people suggestions kinda defeats the purpose. Would you ask yer neighbors opinion on what you should name yer child?

Thirdly, if yer a dude then yer bike is a female, and vice versa. I don't know about you Ruger but it's not often I'm swinging my leg over another guy. I didn't name my bike cause it just hasn't come to me yet and thats fine, but i have however named my jeep the minute i bought her, Lucy.

Some people are just party poopers. I know your thrilled with your new ride and this is a way to share your feelings. You will go with whatever name that feels right so I see no problem with asking for suggestions.
Here's mine: Classy Lad

One day, after an hour of discomfort, I stopped and got up off my bike and it was then that an appropriate name came to me.

But I didn't want to call my bike 'Fartblocker' so I've left it nameless.

First thing that came to mind was "Pearl". Then I scrolled down and saw that it had occurred to Cycledude as well.

Hey, here's a weird one: If you're a fan of "Lord of the Rings" you could give it the name of Gandalf's horse: "Shadowfax". Or not.

[EDIT] Here's one from mythology: "Pegasus", the winged horse.
