I just got my bike about a month ago and its missing the right and left fairings i am having the hardest time finding parts for my bike. Its a 1999 ninja zx6-g i know there is like a G1 and a G2 and i think mine is a G2 but how do i look for these parts i know they use the R in place of the G but will the ninja zx600 R parts fit my ninja zx6G then same.. sorry new to this bike thing and going crazy can anyone help me figure this out?

The only thing I see listed on Kawi's parts website is the E7 for that model year. Are you sure it's a G?

I have the same bike, a 1999 zx6r. The G is the model of the bike. The R is part of the name distinguishing it from a different kind of bike the zx6. Look for fairings that fit a 1998-1999 ZX6R, those fairings will fit your bike. It doesn't matter which year because the bike didn't change in those two years. Year 2000 bikes are different though and may not fit perfectly.

you should check out ebay for your fairings i need a bunch of things and ebay is the best bet so far, never buy anything from bikebandit.com cause thats just way too expensive.
